Omkar Systems has exciting opportunities for experienced speech application experts to join our rapidly expanding speech solutions team

Responsibilities and Experience:

• Consulting with clients on requirements, designing call flows, writing prompts and VUI specification documents, developing grammars and conducting usability tests.
• 3+ years of related experience in Microsoft Speech Server, Microsoft Speech SDK, SALT, VoiceXML and .NET framework.
• Solid knowledge of industry best practices in voice user interface design.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including the ability to be both assertive and persuasive with both clients and colleagues.
• Team player with excellent initiative and follow-through.
• Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external customers and to manage time allocated among multiple projects.

Responsibilities and Experience:

• 3-5 years industry experience in user-centered design and speech recognition application development
• Discover and analyze applications requirements from both the client's and the caller's perspective
• Create effective speech user interface designs including call flow, dialogs, and prompts to accomplish the requirements. Experience in developing call flows for complex applications
• Assist in implementing these designs, including interacting with developers, directing voice talents and performing usability tests
• Analyze performance of the user interface in the field and recommend specific changes to improve caller satisfaction and transaction completion.
• Customer interaction and relationship building experience
